Digital Yarning is a fresh digital story platform co-created by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous students, working with Bridgette and teachers at Brisbane Youth Education and Training Centre (BYETC), Brisbane Youth Detention Centre (BYDC).

21 digital stories illuminate identity, life experiences and connecting to country and culture.

Outcomes are digital capacity-building and exhibitions online and at BYDC, QUT, HitNet kiosks and State Library Queensland's Indigenous Knowledge Centre, kuril dhagun. Platforming young voices in connected digital spaces furthers inclusive futures.

"kuril dhagun support the ongoing development of our young people in detention on projects such as this that provide long-term cultural, emotional and professional support."

Nadine McDonald-Dowd, Manager, kuril dhagun, Indigenous Knowledge Centre, State Library Queensland
